the iPhone 5 is made of glass and aluminum


Apple Incorporated officially launched their latest mobile phone, the iPhone 5 in San Francisco, Wednesday, U.S. time or early Thursday.

"It (the iPhone 5) is made of glass and aluminum," said Vice President of Apple, Philip W. Schiller, as quoted by The Verge.

iPhone 5 has a 7.6 millimeter thick Schiller claimed 18 percent thinner than the iPhone 4S.

"(iPhone 5) is not what we or anyone else in the industry have previous production," said Schiller.

Schiller also claimed that the iPhone 5 weighs 112 grams or 20 percent lighter than the iPhone 4S.

"The new screen is a four-inch iPhone 5," said Schiller about sailing Retina smart phone with 326 pixels per inch.

Related to the phone's touch screen resolution is 1136 x 640, Schiller said Apple removes one layer of screen and touch screen technology integrates directly.

AMD A6 processor smart phone that supports 3G network connectivity and of course 4G or LTE.

"Compared to the A5 is two times faster," Schiller said on the phone that also has an eight megapixel camera that is integrated.

IPhone 5 battery duration of 225 hours in a "standby", eight hours of talk time on 3G, or eight hours of internet browsing with 3G and LTE networks.

Another difference with the iPhone 4S, video capable mobile phones that have 1080 pixels connector cable called "Lightning" with eight points, not the connector with 30 points like the iPod.
